Shipping & Delivery
At Thousand Years, our ghee is made in small batches, and we take the same care with getting your order to you as we do with making what is inside each jar.
We currently ship within the United States.
Available shipping methods and rates are shown at checkout based on your order and delivery address.
Preorders
Some products may be available for preorder before a production batch is ready to ship.
The estimated shipping or fulfillment window shown on the product page reflects our good faith expectation at the time your order is placed.
Because our ghee is produced in small batches, timing can occasionally change. If we are unable to ship your preorder within the timeframe originally communicated, we will contact you with an updated estimate and, where applicable, provide the option to continue with the order or cancel the unshipped order for a full refund.
Standard and Express Shipping
We currently offer Standard Shipping and Express Shipping where available.
For preorder products, Express Shipping does not accelerate production or move an order ahead of its batch. Express service applies only after your order is ready and has been handed to the carrier.
You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
Local Delivery
Local delivery is available to eligible addresses within our delivery area surrounding DMV region.
Availability and delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address.
For preorder products, local delivery begins once the applicable batch is ready. We will contact you as needed regarding delivery timing.
Delivery Timing
Any shipping or transit estimate begins after your order has been fulfilled and transferred to the carrier.
Carrier delays, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside our control may occasionally affect delivery timing. If your shipment appears delayed or you have concerns about its status, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Shipping Address Changes
Please review your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
If you notice an error after ordering, contact us at orders@thethousandyears.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to update the address before fulfillment, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered fulfillment or shipped.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or incorrect, please contact us at orders@thethousandyears.com. Our Returns, Refunds & Our Promise policy explains how we handle these situations.
